About
Ice Man Mir
Biography
Amiri Quincy Lake, known professionally as Ice Man Mir, is a recording artist from North Babylon, New York, now based in Brooklyn. His sound blends melodic rap, trap, R&B, rockstar energy, and club ready bounce, creating a style that feels polished but still raw. With a deep voice, icy charisma, and a natural ear for hooks, Mir makes music that moves between late night emotions, luxury lifestyle, and high energy performance.
Mir’s journey started long before the studio. A graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in Music Business, he built his foundation through both education and experience, learning the creative and business sides of the industry at the same time. That balance has shaped the way he moves as an independent artist. He is not just focused on making songs. He is building a catalog, a brand, and a world around his music.
At the heart of Ice Man Mir’s music is a simple mission: to spread love, joy, and peace while inspiring people to have fun through the chaos of life. His motto, “work hard, play harder,” shows up in the energy of his records, which are made for late nights, celebrations, confidence, movement, and freedom. Mir wants his music to unite people from different backgrounds and remind listeners that no matter what they are going through, they can still feel alive, connected, and free.
His records have already started to create real momentum. Songs like “Icy Halloween” and “Take It to the Beach” earned him interviews and airtime on WRHU 88.7 FM and iHeart Radio’s Heat 106.1 FM, while “Drinkin Hennessy” passed over 100,000 Spotify streams and helped introduce listeners to his signature sound. On stage, Ice Man Mir brings the same energy that defines his music. He has performed across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, sharing stages with artists including Ski Mask the Slump God, Baby Tate, 24kGoldn, Midwxst, 99 Neighbors, and Capella Grey.
Beyond the music, Mir wants to be an example for young Black kids who see themselves in him. His goal is to show that success does not have to come through violence, selling drugs, or following the wrong crowd. It can come through creativity, discipline, faith, business, and staying true to who you are. Whether he is making records for late night drives, women dancing, luxury visuals, or packed live shows, Ice Man Mir’s purpose is clear: create music that feels cold, confident, freeing, and impossible to ignore.
